Both teams come into Tuesday`s Superettan contest having displayed varying degrees of inconsistent form in recent weeks. 

Nine games into the new campaign, Sandviken sit 11th in the division, with nine points on the board. While Sundsvall sit 9th in the division, ahead of the hosts on goal difference only. 

The hosts return to action after a disastrous 4:0 defeat at Orgryte in last week's Superettan fixture. Two goals conceded in both halves condemned Eldar Abdulic's side to a fourth defeat in six games played over the past month.

Similarly inconsistent in home games, Sandviken won two and lost one of four games played in this campaign, while they have suffered three defeats in eight previous games at Arena Jernvallen since the back-end of last season. 

With just one win in their last six league fixtures, confidence is low in the home camp, and another tough test awaits against a Sundsvall side that have shown some decent form in recent weeks, particularly on their travels.

Unbeaten in seven of their last nine away fixtures, Sundsvall also boast a strong recent record in this fixture. Erol Ates's men picked up a draw or better in each of their last five games against Sandviken, including back-to-back victories in their two most recent encounters.

In what is a tough contest to pick with too much confidence, I'm putting a small stake on Sundsvall to avoid defeat on Tuesday.
